Clearing meadows at Leo in 1790, hired to George Newman there in 1791. Named in 1791 deed of emancipation. Scheduled for emancipation in 1792. Emancipated by deed dated January 2, 1792; deed proved in westmoreland County Court on April 24, 1792. In August 1792, Anthony and Joe Reid <443> were negotiating with Carter's agent for a tenement [on the Bull Run tract?].
