(432> Hannah Harris -- Born 1755 (one source suggests 1752). Daughter of Rachel <508> and George (507>. Residing at Bull Run in 1774. Tithable in Loudoun County, 1770-80. Listed to be sent from Bull. Run to Libra in 1783, but residing at Leo in 1788 and 1791. Described as weaver in 1788 and 1791. Named in 1791 deed of emancipation. Scheduled for emancipation in 1793. wrote Robert Carter on April 5, 1792, requesting to buy the loom she then worked on. Emancipated by deed dated January 1, 1793; deed proved in Westmoreland County Court, February 28, 1793.
