<161) Berkley Harrison (also referred to as "Bartley" or "Bartlet") -- Born 1762. Son of Judith Harrison <466> and Sam Harrison <457>. Residing at Nomony Hall in 1782, 1784, 1785, 1790, 1791, and 1796. In 1788, went to nurse a child belonging to Betsy Smith <337> at Aries. Named in 1791 deed of emancipation. Scheduled for emancipation in 1803. Hired by his father, tenant at Nomony Hall, during 1792. Emancipated by deed dated January 1, 1803; deed proved in Frederick County Court, February 1, 1803.
