Sent to Gemini in 1779 to cut firewood.Residing at Coles Point in March 1785; iii with venerealdisease. Residing at Old Ordinary in 1786, 1788, 1789, and 1791. Described as oysterman in 1788, as fisherman in 1789and 1791. Accused of plotting against foreman Jesse Johnsonat Old Ordinary in November 1790. Named in 1791 deed ofemancipation. Scheduled for emancipation in 1793.Emancipated by deed dated January 1, 1793; deed proved in Westmoreland County Court, February 28, 1793, although court certified him as lame due to the injury to his hand.
