<479> Robbin Spence (also "Robin Gumby") -- Born 1732. Parents unknown; husband of Sukey Spence <423> in 1791 (earlier wife dead by 1784); father (by earlier wife) of Nanny (--->, Lucy (--->, Grace <324>, and probably Jesse Spence <167>, Molly Spence <178), Dinah [Spence?] <176), Adam [Spence?) <060>, and Eve (Spence?) <620>. Residing at Cancer/Richmond in 1782 (tithable), 1789, 1790, and 1791. Requested in 1782 that his daughter Grace be transferred from BiJ.lingsgate to Cancer/Richmond (Lucy and Nanny were sold at the Billingsgate sale). Over 45 years old in 1791. Emancipated by deed dated January 1, 1793; deed proved in Westmoreland County Court, February 27, 1793.
