Residing at Nomony Mall in 1775, 1782, 1784 (tithable), 1790, and 1791. Described as carpenter from 1775 onward. Repairing blacksmith shop and lathing joiner's shop in 1775; building tobacco house on Metcalf's Tract No. 3 in 1786; assisting in repairs to Double Mill in 1786 and 1788. Part of crew working under joiner William Anderson on Morattico Meeting House in 1788. Assigned temporarily to Coles Point in 1768 to assist in agricultural labor. Named in 1791 deed of emancipation. Scheduled for emancipation in 1792. Emancipated by deed dated January 2, 1792; deed proved in Westmoreland County Court, February 28, 1792. Settled on tenement at Aries in February 1792. Received certificate of emancipation on July 28, 1792.
