Described as a sawyer in 1782 and as a carpenter in 1791. Partner with Dick Miller <486> in 1786; formerly partner with Jack, a sawyer. Treated in Northumberland County in 1785 for a frequently bleeding nose; listed as invalid in 1786 and 1790. Received treatment from Caesar, belonging to Mrs. Steptoe, in 1790. Named in 1791 deed of emancipation. Scheduled for emancipation in 1795. Received certificate of emancipation in 1795.
