(130> Celia -- Born 1786. Described as "mulatto." Daughter of Lucy Henry (451>. Residing at Nomony Hall in 1790 and 1791. Named in 1791 deed of emancipation. Scheduled for emancipation in 1804. Residing in Robert Carter's household in Baltimore by July 1795, when she was inoculated against smallpox there. In April 1803, Carter gave her leave to travel from Baltimore to Westmoreland County, Virginia, to spend about a month there. Perhaps emancipated in Maryland.
