Described as postillon in 1790 and 1791. Placed in mourning
livery on death of Frances Tasker Carter in 1787.
Temporarily assigned to Forest in 1788. Attended Sarah
Fairfax Carter at Major Thomas Jones's in 1790. Aided in
apprehending two black men suspected of breaking into the
Double Mill in 1790. Named in 1791 deed of emancipation.
Scheduled for emancipation in 1797. Traveled to Robert
Carters house in Baltimore in 1794 to bring back horse for
John Tasker Carter. Received certificate of emancipation,
