<264> Alexander Jones (referred to frequently as Mackey)-- Born ca. 1772-74. Son of Lucy Henry <451> and (Alexander Jones (free man)?]. Residing at Nomony HL11 in 1775, 1782,1784 (not tithable), 1785 (tithable), 1790 and 1791.Serving as mariner on the Mayflower and the Machodoc flat in 1785. Sent to Baltimore in March 1787 to receive the Betsy and served with her crew at least through 1793. Named in 1791 deed of emancipation. Scheduled for emancipation in 1795.
