Judith Brutus

Born 1773. Daughter of Sarah Brutus (454) and Sam Brutus (497). Mother of Lucy (072) and Sam Jones (573). Sister of Betty Brutus (381). In March 1787 found pregnant by Ralph Wormley (362) husband of her sister Betty. Sent from Coles Point to Shenandoah April 1787; Scorpio 1788/1791. Scheduled free 1792. Emancipated Jan 2 1792; proved Westmoreland County Court May 29 1792.
