Beverly Harrison

Born 1773/1774. Copper colour. Son of Judith Harrison (466) and Sam Harrison (457). At Nomony Hall 1775/1784/1785/1790/1791. Scheduled free 1796. Went to Carter's Baltimore household May 1794. Received certificate January 1796. In 1800 sailed from Baltimore as crewman; overtaken by British sloop-of-war; pressed into British navy. Carter entreated US government to intercede Aug 1801.
