Biography
<216) Samuel Weldon ("Sam") -- Born 1776 or 1777. Son of
Sarah <427>. Residing at. Old Ordinary in 1782, 1785, 1788,
1789, 1791, and 1796. Fell out of a tree in August 1788,
seriously injuring his face, head, and arm. Named in 1791
deed of emancipation. Scheduled for emancipation in 1799.
Emancipated by deed dated November 3, 1799; deed proved in
Frederick County Court, December 3, 1799. Sources: Deed of
