Scheduled for emancipation in 1796. Sent with his wife to Baltimore in August 1793 to act as livened house servant for Robert Carter; servad through January 1796. Inoculated against smallpox in July 1794. Received certificate of emancipation in January 1796. Molding bricks in April 1796.
