(119) Lettice Reed (Lett) -- Born 1786. Daughter of Jemima Reid <371> and [Simon Reid <308>?]. Residing at Aries in 1790, 1791, and 1796. Named in 1791 deed of emancipation. Scheduled for emancipation in 1805. Emancipated by deed dated January 1, 1805, but deed refusedby Frederick County Court in April. Probably freed after 1808 ruling by Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals.
