Residing at Nomony Hall in 1775, 1782, 1784 (tithable), 1785 (tithable), 1790, and 1791. Described as a carpenter in 1774-75, 1790, and 1791, as a sawyer in 1782 and 1786. working on projects at Old Ordinary in March 1785, on a tobacco house on Metcalf's Tract, No. 3, in Hay 1786. Named in 1791 deed of emancipation. Scheduled for emancipation in 1792. Emancipated by deed dated January 2, 1792; deed proved in Westmoreland County Court, February 28, 1792. Authorized to bargain for his own time, February 1, 1792. Received certificate of emancipation, July 28, 1792.
