Edmond -- Born 1778. Son of Sarah Daly <474>.
Residing at Old Ordinary in 1782, 1785, 1788, 1789, and 1791. Named in 1791 deed of emancipation. Scheduled for emancipation in 1799. In February 1795, Edmond ran away to Robert Carter in Baltimore. Although Carter directed that Edmond should eventually return to Westmoreland County by water, he was kept in Baltimore for several months, employed as a gardener. On July 16, 1795, Edmond broke out with smallpox. He died and was buried in Baltimore's potter's field on July 26.
